Portfolio Terms

Cookzdesignz enjoys sharing completed projects to help prospective clients understand our work. These terms explain how we request permission and publish your project.

1. Publication with your permission

We request separate permission before publishing your project in our portfolio. Accepting a quotation or placing an order does not automatically grant this permission. Permission is voluntary. You may decline without affecting the price, quality or delivery of your project.

2. What material may we display?

We identify the material to be published in advance. This may include the final design, a video, an image of the finished result or a short project description. Permission applies only to the identified material and selected channels. Drafts, working files, private messages and internal documents are not automatically included.

We publish your company name, logo, personal name, likeness or testimonial only where separately agreed and the necessary rights and permissions are in place.

3. Where and why do we use the material?

We use approved material to showcase our work and services on the agreed channels. Paid advertising, sale to third parties or any other use outside these arrangements requires separate permission. Online publications are public. Visitors may view and share the material. Social platforms process published material under their own terms and privacy policies.

4. Publication timing and confidentiality

We will not publish before the agreed date or launch milestone. If that milestone changes, we will agree a new publication date with you. Confidential information, contact details, financial information and other unapproved information will not be published.

We may adapt material to suit the selected channel, for example by changing its dimensions. These adjustments will not change the substance or meaning of your project. Substantive changes will be submitted to you for approval first.

5. Other people’s rights

You may only grant permission for material and rights you are authorised to control. Approval on behalf of a company does not automatically replace permission from identifiable individuals or other rights holders. Where additional permission or a licence is required, we will publish the relevant material only after this has been arranged. Permission for portfolio use does not transfer copyright.

6. Withdrawing permission and removing material

You may withdraw permission for future portfolio use free of charge through the contact details on our website. Withdrawing permission is as easy as giving it. Following withdrawal, we will stop the relevant use and remove the material from online channels we control as soon as possible. Existing printed material containing it will not be distributed further or reprinted.

Withdrawal of consent for personal data does not affect the lawfulness of use before withdrawal. We cannot guarantee immediate removal of third-party copies, shared posts or search engine caches. Where necessary and reasonably possible, we will take steps to request removal.

7. Your publication choices — form template
